Kuakini Heights is a new construction project planned to include 98 residential units and 2 manager units. Construction is estimated to begin Q4 2025 in Kailua-Kona. There will be a total of 26 structures on site. 23 two-story buildings will contain 12 three-bedroom, 58 two-bedroom, 28 one-bedroom, and 2 management affordable apartment units. Kuakini Heights will remain affordable for individuals and families for the next 66 years. Apartments will be available from 30% of the AGMI (Area Gross Median Income) up to 60% AGMI.  

Kuakini Heights is surrounded by residential houses, open land, retail, and restaurants. Kealakehe Elementary, Intermediate, and High School are nearby. Safeway, Costco, banks, hospitals, and public parks are all within a reasonable distance from the property. Amenities include a management office, community room, kitchen, and conference room in the first building. There will also be 15 laundry rooms and onsite parking for all residents.
